Tim Darmody
Director, Architect
With over 23 years of experience Tim is lead architect on a variety of different architectural and urban planning assignments in Ireland and the UK. As Architectural Project Director Tim provides professional and technical direction performance oversight and ensures the necessary resources are provided to support the Design Team Leader and architectural team in delivery of the project.
Jennifer Lynch
Design Director, Architect
Since graduating in 1996 Jennifer has gained experience on a variety of architectural, conservation, landscape and urban planning schemes leading multi-disciplinary teams of consultants through the design process and works on site. Jennifer led the Design Team of Dublin Port Centre Precinct project recently nominated for Mies van der Rohe Award 2019. As the Design Director, Jennifer co-ordinates the office team while being available to advise and discuss any project issues as they arise.
Alan Ryan
Technical Director, Architectural Technologist
Alan has advanced the practice’s technical expertise and practical hands on experience of building design, detailing and regulation. Having graduated as an architectural technician in 2000, Alan has acquired extensive technical experience on a variety of commercial and residential developments over the past 18 years in Ireland, Australia and the USA. Alan is proficient in Revit drawing software and designated building information modelling (BIM).
Nessa Walsh
Office Manager
Nessa graduated with an MA in archaeology from UCD and then spent 13 years as operations manager for a large Dublin-based archaeology consultancy during which time she completed a diploma in business management. In 2015 Nessa joined Darmody Architecture as office manager. In her current role she has responsibility for office operations, accounts, HR and project tracking.
Suzanne Moloney
Architect
Suzanne has worked on mixed use developments involving significant heritage assets in the UK such as the regeneration of Stanley Dock Liverpool located within a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Suzanne has demonstrated her ability to manage client design requirements, coordinate design team information, produce detailed technical drawings for tender and construction, attend site visits and administer the RIAI building contract.
Seán Barrett
Architect
Seán graduated from Dublin School of Architecture, Bolton Street in 2017 with an honours degree in Architecture, and Architectural Technology in 2012. From a young age, Seán developed an interest in architecture working on-site for his father, a contractor based in the west of Ireland.
Since joining DA in 2018 Seán has worked on a variety of projects including CHQ Dublin, Tobacco Warehouse at Stanley Dock, Liverpool, and has managed a number of SHD projects and design teams though the planning process. Current work includes a number of projects within Dublin Port.
Adam Brzostek
Project Architect
Adam studied architecture and urban planning at the Warsaw University of Technology, the University of Karlsruhe and at the Berlin University of Technology. Adam has been with the practice since 2014. Prior to that he worked on a variety of projects in different scales including interior design, housing projects, mixed-use developments, hotel, sport complex, offices and industrial buildings for a number of leading architectural firms in Poland before moving to Dublin. Since joining the DA design team Adam has been co-author of Dublin Port Centre Precinct project recently nominated for Mies van der Rohe Award 2019.
Marco Pittamiglio
Project Architect
Marco gained a master’s degree in Architecture at Polytechnic School of Genoa. After graduation he worked as an architectural intern at Atelier PRO Architekten in The Hague where he was involved in different projects, tender and competition processes, mainly residential and educational buildings. Since joining Darmody Architecture in early 2019 Marco has worked on various residential commercial projects including the Tobacco Warehouse at Stanley Dock, Liverpool, and the Greystones housing development for Cairn Homes.
Laurentiu Dragnea
Project Architect
Laurentiu joined the team in 2020. Graduating with a Master’s from the University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest, Romania in 2015 Laurentiu has six year’s post-graduate experience in Irish and Romanian architectural practices.
Savva Zakharov
Architectural Graduate
Savva has first joined us on his year out in 2020 and we were delighted he returned on graduating with his Master’s degree in2022from UCD. Savva has worked on a variety of large-scale residential and mixed-use commercial projects and has become an invaluable member of the DA team
Jakub Jaworski
Architectural Graduate
Jakub joined us in June 2022. He is currently on a year out from studying Architecture in UCD. In 2022, Jakub completed an Erasmus programme at TU Wien. Since joining Darmody Architecture, Jakub has worked on various medium to large scale mixed-use projects, and housing for the elderly.

We are Hiring for an Architectural Technologist
We are looking for a qualified architectural technologist to join our team and work on a number of mixed-scale urban projects.
• 3rd level qualification in architectural technology from an Irish university
• Minimum of 3 years post-grad work experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
• Proficiency in technical and construction detailing.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations.
• Experience in preparing and submitting planning applications and tender packages.
• Motivated, enthusiastic, creative and flexible person who works well in a team or alone.
We offer hybrid working, company pension scheme and the Bike to Work scheme.
Salary for this role will be commensurate with experience.
