Hendrick Street

An under-utilised urban site set between Benburb Street and Hendrick Street in Dublin’s city Centre afforded the opportunity to create a new urban quarter. Working closely with Dublin City Council the challenge was to make a significant public space marked by a vertical building. By creating three distinct street edges and a public square a new sense of place emerged. The ten-story vertical building was generally apartment living above ground level with publicly accessible uses at ground level.
